Our Leadership Team
Adam Firestone, CEO and Co-Founder of SIX3RO, drives the company’s strategic vision to deliver quantum-secure communications and information exchange. With 30 years of expertise in systems engineering, cryptography, decentralized systems, and entrepreneurship, he has led the design and delivery of national security and commercial solutions that enhance efficiency and empower enterprises. A former US Army officer, Adam holds seven US patents in multilevel security, cryptography, and decentralized information systems and has taught graduate-level cryptography, cybersecurity engineering, and systems engineering at Georgetown and George Mason Universities. As Editor-in-Chief of United States Cybersecurity Magazine, he shapes industry discourse. Adam is co-author of a historical analysis of global military procurement policies during wartime and, in his free time, he enjoys rucking in Northern Virginia, writing about tech startup leadership, serving on his local CERT, and studying emergency first aid.
Hilary MacMillan, CTO and Co-Founder of SIX3RO, oversees the design, development, and delivery of its cutting-edge product portfolio. With expertise in systems engineering, cryptographic applications, and technology innovation, she transforms ideas into secure, post-quantum solutions. Hilary has held engineering leadership roles in tech startups and taught graduate-level systems engineering and cryptography at Georgetown University. She holds six US patents in cryptography and decentralized systems. With a bachelor’s in electrical engineering and a master’s in systems engineering, Hilary drives SIX3RO’s mission to enable quantum-secure information exchange. In her spare time, she practices pointed pen calligraphy and enjoys rucking in Northern Virginia.
Anna Murray, CCO and Co-Founder of SIX3RO, leads marketing and commercialization of its innovative product line. With over 20 years in entrepreneurship, technology consulting, and enterprise software development, she has earned multiple business leadership awards and recognition from Fortune 500 companies. Previously, Anna founded emedia, LLC, a digital-transformation consultancy, and authored three books on software development and cybersecurity. Her strategic vision and proven track record strengthen SIX3RO’s mission to deliver quantum-secure solutions. Passionate about pushing technological boundaries, Anna brings creativity and expertise to her role. When not driving SIX3RO’s growth, she enjoys horseback riding, writing novels, and relaxing with her whippet in New York City.
